The Songbird Café,
located at 440 Mount Rushmore Road in historic Custer is a coffee
- food - art - music - lovers dream. The Songbird hits all the

The Songbird features the
talents of chefs Jacob Mills and Brenden Roetzel, who combined
their knowledge of West Coast and South Florida cuisines with their
South
Dakota roots to create unique combinations of spices, flavors and
sauces infused into the menu they personally designed. Sandwiches,
salads and special dishes, such as the popular Reuben Bearjangles,
Dixie Chicken wrap and Bison Lasagna result in many enthusiastic
customers. Beverages include a wide array of lattes, cappuccinos,
smoothies, Italian sodas, wine & beer. While savoring your
meal or enjoying wonderful coffees and desserts , feast your eyes
on the
original artwork lining the walls of the cozy log-beamed interior,
enhanced by curved glass-block walls, sculptured "trees" and
specialty lighting. There is also a gift/art gallery filled with
